Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is a great pleasure to invite you to join us at the FEBS advanced lecture course on Current Advances in Pathogen Research, to be held in Yerevan, Armenia, from March 25 to March 30, 2019.

This course is a succession of the 1st course in 2016, which is intended to provide an international venue to train young researchers and bring them together with outstanding scientists from all over the world. For this course, we have selected four major topics encompassing several disciplines including viral and bacterial pathogens, eukaryotic parasites, and anti-pathogen research.

In addition to lectures, the program will feature poster presentations, as well as short talks by young researchers selected by organizers. Sessions will be reserved for informal discussions (round-tables) between young participants and lecturers. The organizing committee members and invited lecturers will make every effort for the advanced course to be a success scientifically and on a social level.

Travel grants provided by FEBS will be available upon application/selection procedure for applicants not older than 35.

I am looking forward to welcome you in Armenia for an exciting FEBS course.

Best regards,

Hovakim Zakaryan
